However, the reveal of this truck is set for March 1. General Motors is not saving the debut for a big car show, but instead, they will organize a special event. Spy photos of the pickup truck are available, but we can’t see too much. Recently, GMC launched a teaser image, but that one is only confused all the fans. A dark photo, where we can see only a few shapes, headlights, and the badge on the grille is not too generous with details. But, in few days we will know everything about the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500.
2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Comes Redesigned According to Spy Shots
We could see these images over the internet in the last couple of months. The new concept of the 2019 GMC Sierra will make this vehicle more luxurious from its sibling, Chevy Silverado 1500. Whatsoever, these two models are very similar. Interior of the Sierra will make difference for buyers since designers paid a lot of attention to details. Nevertheless, outside, this truck will get new front fascia.
Redesign of the 2019 GMC Sierra is probably the main reason why the company holds the premiere in a special event. Also, that could be the cause of the delay, if we can say so. Ford F-150 and Ram 1500 stole the show at the central annual event in the automotive world. The 2019 Chevy Silverado had an official debut in Detroit, but it was revealed already in 2017.
New Colors for GMC Sierra 1500
Changes on the 2019 GMC Sierra will include a revisit of paintjobs. Not only that exterior will get additions, but also the interior. Outside, Sierra will offer at least one or two more colors to join Onyx Black, Cardinal Red, and Summit White. Besides these, GMC includes premium paintjobs that cost extra.
2019 GMC Sierra Denali and Denali HD
As always, Denali model will be the class leading truck. Special features will make this pickup much better in every way. First of all, customization of the driving system will boost overall specs and performance. Furthermore, appealing details and top-notch equipment inside the cabin are going to lure many buyers. Safety systems and leather seats make a ride very pleasant and comfortable.
2019 GMC Sierra Petrol and Diesel Engines
The 2019 GMC Sierra will come with a petrol engine as its base offer. Nevertheless, the next season will bring a tough battle among diesel trucks. Rivals are already announced their engines. Being a close sibling to the Chevy Silverado means these two will share the same 3.0-liter inline-six unit. It is not official yet, but the vehicle could gain 250 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque with it.
The standard offer includes a 5.3-liter V-8 petrol drivetrain. Buyers will have an alternative in 6.2-liter, also a V-8 mill. The first one is capable to burst 355 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque, while the bigger engine returns 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Compared to the Silverado, 2019 GMC Sierra doesn’t offer a 4.3-liter EcoTec V-6 unit.
