The brand-new 2019 RAM 1500 had a premiere at the largest auto show on earth. In Detroit, we could see the base model of the pickup. But, the versatility of this vehicle is one of its main advantages. With a total of 10 trim level, it is hard to find a buyer that will be unhappy with one of them.
Although we still can’t buy the 2019 RAM 1500, the premiere ended most speculations and rumors about the truck. We need to wait patiently to see the pricing. But, one unanswered question is – which trim levels and versions will appear next season?
2019 RAM 1500 Spy Shots of Various Version
Spy photos that are not quite that. Fans could see the new 2019 RAM 1500. That means the vehicle doesn’t have to wear a camouflage while testing. That gave us sneak peaks at various versions of the 2019 Dodge Ram 1500. We can see different cab and bed configurations. Also, some design solutions are there.
The base level Tradesman, we believe, is re-appearing in that form. Also, spy photographers caught Laramie and Big Horn models on streets. Furthermore, fans can find photos of the new 2019 RAM 1500 with Quad Cab and different sizes of bed.
2019 RAM 1500 Entry-Level and Mid-Range Trucks
As we already mentioned, the 2019 RAM 1500 will enter the market with its base Tradesman model. This was the entry-level truck for the previous edition. Express pickup is the next trim level, that adds some features to the base model. Tradesman HFE and Laramie pickups are coming with significant upgrades.
Mid-range offer starts with Big Horn or Lone Star as some call it. In this level, we will also see Sport and Night versions.
Although the base price for the 2019 RAM 1500 will start probably around $28,000, the company will launch models that cost over $40,000. We can say these are top of the class trucks. There are at least three versions of this group. The Ram Rebel is the only one to use a V-6 engine. Other two pickups are coming with a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 units. These are Laramie Longhorn and Limited Edition models. The second one is always unpredictable with dates of appearance, features, and with them, price.
2019 RAM 1500 Special Editions
In 2018 we didn’t see a model of Dodge Ram 1500 for that season. Instead, the company launched few special editions of the truck. The Sport trim level had Hydro Blue and Sublime Green versions. With it, Ram restyled the classic trim with stylish details, bigger wheels, and unique paintjobs. Standard 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks had Southfork, Limited Tungsten, and Harvest variations. All of these carried unique parts and special features outside and inside the cabin. The Night version also got few additions to make the pickup more attractive.
2019 RAM 1500 Rebel TRX Concept
We already wrote a review of this model. The top level for new 2019 RAM 1500 will be TRX. This concept will perfectly fit the Rebel trim. The performance-tuned drivetrain can deliver 575 hp. For next Dodge Ram truck, this amount can only go up. It will use a special drivetrain, transmission, and suspension system. Also, its price will top all others. If any of these trucks exceed $50k level, it will be the TRX concept.
