The 2020 Ford Super Duty could also get a new engine. For some while, we are listening to rumors about a 7.0 engine. Ford is developing the new petrol unit which will deliver more power than the current largest drivetrain. The new F-250 and F-350 trucks will continue to use the Power Stroke diesel engine. But, the future of petrol units is not certain yet. The new engine is definitely coming, but we don’t know exactly when, and if it is going to replace a current powertrain. The 2020 Ford Super Duty 7.0 V8 engine will be capable to produce around 500 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. For example, the current 6.2-liter unit is good for 380 hp and 430 pound-feet. From what we can see, the first thing that will draw attention is grille, with a new design with some kind of protection around the Blue Oval badge on it. We are not sure what exactly Ford is trying to hide there. Some say they want to confuse fans and mix it with Ram HD trucks. Good try, but distinctive design unveils this is a heavy-duty Ford’s truck being tested outside. Windows and mirrors are also saying so. The new 2020 Ford Super Duty seems to be slimmer than before. We don’t know which version is tested, but the overall length seems to fit the current’s size.
