The 2022 Ford F-250 is one of the most capable trucks in the market. Still, it doesn’t offer a maximum capacity of 36,000 pounds. To do this, you will need the Series 3 truck, diesel engine, and a DRW configuration. Nevertheless, the Powerstroke unit is there, as well as the new V8 petrol mill. 2022 Ford F-250 New Engine is Receiving Positive Feedback
A 7.3-liter unit is finally here. Engineers put it under the bonnet of the Super Duty trucks, including the 2022 Ford F-250. It can produce 430 hp and 475 lb-ft, and it was projected as the next engine for the F-150 Raptor. But, engineers have to respond to Ram 1500 TRX and its 700 horsepower. A 6.2-liter is still there. The key change for this one is a new 10-speed transmission. Outputs stay put at 435 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque.
The 2022 Ford F-250 Diesel is the truck you want to have. The Powerstroke mill is delivering 450 hp and 935 lb-ft, and outputs go up with the Tremor package. The F-350 will deliver more than 1,000 lb-ft for the total towing capacity of 36,000 pounds. A 6.7-liter oil-burner is paired with a 10-speed TorqShift gearbox that sends power to rear or all wheels. Dual-rear wheel setup is available only with the Series 3 truck.
