The 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison will be based on the standard off-road package with some exceptional addition. This upgrade will cost you $5,750.
Under the bonnet of the muscle truck is either petrol or diesel unit. The entire package wears all the features the standard ZR2 is offering. 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison Upgrades

The ZR2 is available with either Extended Can and Long Box, or Short Bed and Crew Cab. All-wheel drive is standard. In addition to the Z71, the next step will bring special appearance details. Of course, everything is about the performance, so Chevrolet adds off-road suspension with a Multimatic damping system. The truck is lifted by 0.7 inches, for total ground clearance of 9 inches. Plus, the standard ZR2 will use a spray-on bedliner and trailer hitch. The rear bumper is black and 17-inch wheels are replacing the Z71 rims. Inside, you will find leather upholstery.

The Bison package is added with special upgrades. Chevrolet and American Expedition Vehicles prepared a unique craft for the off-road truck. The front bumper of the 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison has winch provisions, while the rear one comes with the recovery points. Big Chevrolet badge is replacing the bow-tie logo. AEV also provides steel skid plates and fender flares. Plates will protect underbody parts, including transfer case and rear differential. Inside, you will find special floor liners with the company’s logo. Fog lamps are standard, while the AEV also delivers their wheels, including the spare one.

Of course, there is another choice. The 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison will get power either from a petrol or diesel unit. Definitely, the Duramax unit is better for off-road adventures, thanks to 370 lb-ft of torque. Truckers can also count on 180 horsepower. The power is being transferred to all wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox. Exhaust brakes are added, while the ZR2 can tow 7,700 pounds with this configuration.
If you pick a petrol unit, it will reward you with more energy. A 3.6-liter engine is one of the most reliable drivetrains Chevrolet has to offer. It also brings 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Direct fuel injection is standard. For this engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission is a power router. Tow/Haul mode with help with braking when the truck carries a heavy load. Also, this system will improve acceleration.
