Buyers can still upgrade the 2022 GMC Sierra Denali, but with a diesel unit. In this case, a 3.0-liter oil-burner is turbocharged and Duramax engineers tuned it to 260 hp and 477 lb-ft of torque. General Motors didn’t maximize the towing capacity, since their pickup trucks can haul less than the main competitors. The diesel plant is not going to increase the price of the premium model.
