The FCA family is big. The company threats to overtake the #2 position from General Motors. Well, it is not realistic to see that soon. But, with the expansion we witness, it is not impossible as well. Let’s check what to expect from the 2023 Dodge trucks squad.

The main model is Dodge Ram 1500, the full-size pickup. Still, the same nameplate is used for the heavy-duty segment, Series 2 and 3 models. For a long time, FCA had no representative in the mid-size segment. Now, it is the Jeep Gladiator. Well, most fans expected to see Dodge Dakota, Rampage or Ram 700.

The new season is not going to bring too big changes. Most of the lineup remains the same. Only novelties could be the comeback of the Dakota, or the introduce of a new small truck.

After 30 years, Jeep is back in the truck segment. For a long time, experts believed that FCA is going to launch a mid-size pickup. New 2023 Dodge Trucks – Dakota and Rampage

Ford made a move. The Blue Oval company launched a compact truck and now rivals have to respond. For some while, we believed that 2023 Dodge Dakota is coming back, and the decision could be made soon. FCA wants to compete with Ford, and the Maverick could be a trigger. Dakota would take the position under the Jeep Gladiator. On the other hand, it could be a rebranded version of the pickup.

Meanwhile, there are a few other names speculated to be available soon. Dodge Rampage is another choice. However, this concept is pretty old and even if the nameplate shows up at dealerships, the truck would be totally different from the initial platform. The Dodge Ram 700 is an existing pickup available at limited markets. Now, it could head to the US to become Maverick’s main rival.
