With 310 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque, a 3.6-liter V6 engine brings more serious specs. It can tow more, move faster, but its price is higher. If you want a diesel unit, Duramax 2.8 powertrain is also on the table. In this case, the truck gets 180 hp and 370 pound-feet of twist.
The best towing capacity numbers are recorded with a diesel engine. The Duramax unit will help 2020 GMC Canyon tow 7,700 pounds. This is a class-leading capability. A 3.6-liter V6 engine is also pretty strong. However, its towing capacity is around 7,000 lbs. An engine of an entry-level model, four-cylinder mill, is rated at 3,500 pounds.
2020 GMC Canyon Configurations
Buyers of the 2020 GMC Canyon won’t be able to purchase a truck with a regular can. Only Extended 2-door and Crew Cab 4-door layouts are available. Colors
Currently, the truck offers six to ten different paints for the exterior, depending on a trim level. GMC separated them into standard and premium colors. Black, white, and red are the base palette. Premium paintjobs will get refreshment for the upcoming season, but the company didn’t unveil colors for the 2020 GMC Canyon.
